Assessments and reporting

At St Ives High School, we provide detailed information to students about what we expect from them throughout the year and how their work will be assessed.

Assessments

Students have a number of formal assessments throughout their schooling. The dates for these assessments can be checked on the year group calendar (Sentral portal: Links) and assessment schedule booklets here.

School reports

School reports are issued each semester, after the examinations and assessments have finalised. Parents and guardians can download school reports by logging into their Sentral portal.

Verbal and written reports on academic progress and/or conduct may be obtained at other times during the year by contacting the individual student year adviser concerned.

Parent and teacher interviews

Parents and guardians may contact teachers throughout the school year if they would like to get information regarding their child's progress.

Parent and teacher interview dates vary from year to year and dates are published in the school's calendar of event. Parents and guardians will be emailed with dates and booking information.
