SIHS alumni coaching program

Meet our alumni coaching team

Hi! My name is Maral, and I graduated from St Ives High School in 2017. I am currently the Alumni Coach Coordinator and Attendance Welfare Officer at the school. Since graduating, I have studied Psychology at Macquarie University, completed a Diploma of Branded Fashion and Design, travelled throughout Europe, and am currently studying a Diploma of Counselling at TAFE, with the goal of becoming a counsellor and opening my own clinic in the future. I am passionate about supporting young people both personally and academically, and helping students build the confidence, discipline, and skills needed to succeed beyond school. My own experience at St Ives High School played a significant role in shaping who I am today, which is why giving back to the school community and supporting Year 11 and 12 students through their academic journey is so important to me. Outside of work and study, I enjoy playing professional Oztag, catching up with friends over dinner, and spending time with my family at the beach!
Hi! My name is Maya and I'm a 2024 graduate of St Ives High School. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at UNSW and am fascinated by the field of mental health. In my spare time, I volunteer at a forensic psychology research lab, volunteer as a Digital Crisis Supporter at Lifeline, and regularly go on little hikes around Ku-ring-gai. I chose to become an alumni coach as having received coaching in year 11, I truly understand that value of the support the coaches provide and want to give back.
My name is Kiki, and I graduated from St Ives High School in 2024 as an NSW All-Rounder, where I was also School Captain. After finishing school, I commenced my studies in a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws degree. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, photography, and design. I chose to become an Alumni Coach because I value the opportunity to use my experience to support students as they navigate the challenges and important decisions of their senior years.
Hi! My name is Noga! I graduated from St Ives High School in 2025 and am currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at UNSW. During my free time I enjoy going to the beach, spending time with my cats, hanging out with friends and exploring new places! I chose to become an Alumni Coach because I enjoy supporting others and sharing tips from my own experience. I hope that as a coach I can help students make the most of their final two years of high school!
Hi! I’m Kazuki Norimura. I'm an alumni coach at St Ives High School and I graduated from St Ives High School in 2023. I am currently a second-year student at the University of Sydney studying a Bachelor of Nursing (Advanced Studies), hoping to specialise in paediatrics. During my time at St Ives high school, I was involved in both sporting and academic extracurricular. As an alumni coach, I am passionate about helping students build their own academic foundations, to develop academic confidence in their skills and prepare for success out of and beyond high school.
Hello! I am Brenda, one of the student coaches at St Ives High School and a SIHS alumni, having graduated in 2023. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science and Master of Nursing degree in university. During my senior years at SIHS, I benefited greatly from the coaching program, which inspired me to return as a coach and support current students in their own academic and personal journeys. I hope to contribute positively by sharing strategies that helped me and creating a supportive space for students to reflect, plan, and grow. Outside of university and coaching, I enjoy photography and video editing in my spare time. I’m really grateful to be part of the SIHS coaching program and to give back to a community that supported me during my own time at school.
My name is Jess, and I am a 2023 graduate of St Ives High School. Since I’ve graduated, I’ve been studying for a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) at USYD! In my spare time, I enjoy playing board games, reading, gymnastics or doing any sort of craft! I chose to become an Alumni coach because I believe setting up students with the tools they can gain from coaching will help them in all aspects of life!
